What do you do in this Pokémon online game?
Battle wild Pokémon, try catching them with Poké Balls, and train and evolve your team. You can also battle other trainers, trade with players, and join the community.
This is a community fan game. It is not an official Nintendo or The Pokémon Company game and is not operated by them. These guides describe PokeIsrael; its rules and progression can differ from console games and Pokémon GO.
Can you play on a phone without downloading a game?
Yes. Open the site in a desktop or mobile browser. No installation is required, but you need an internet connection. Progress belongs to your account: use the same account when switching devices.
The interface and beginner guides are available in English. PokeIsrael grew from an Israeli community; player chat, community posts and some older content may be in Hebrew.
Guides and the Pokédex are readable without registering. Register and sign in to save progress and battle. Registration and starting play are free; optional paid purchases are also available in the game.
How do you start playing?
You do not need to know every Pokémon. Begin with your first partner and grow your team as you play.
- Open Start Journey and choose an available region and starter Pokémon.
- Complete free registration and sign in.
- Visit Battle Area, learn your moves, and try catching another Pokémon.
Where can you meet Pokémon players from Israel?
Read questions and discussions in the PokeIsrael forum. After signing in, meet players in chat, ask for team advice, and find people to play with. The community guide lists ways to join.
